Biology – Cells, Chemistry – Compounds, Physics - Energy

Biology – Lifestyle, Chemistry – Rocks, Physics – Space & Magnetism

Year 9

Biology – Human Body, Chemistry – Reactions, Physics - Space

Biology – Classification, Chemistry – Atoms & bonding, Physics – Energy & Sound

Biology – Evolution, Chemistry – Rates of reactions & Metals, Physics - Light

NB: As each topic is revisited the skill set and complexity increases.

Assessment is against National Curriculum Levels and the information on our half termly report is based on all the work and tests your child has done during that half term.

Key Stage 4:

Students study EITHER:

GCSE Science and Additional Science, Edexcel, usually completing GCSE Science topics in Y10 and going on to revise these and study Additional Science in Y11.

OR:

In some cases students study separate sciences – either two or three of Biology, Chemistry & Physics. For details on this please contact us.
